The term “Blind Pig”, was used to describe an establishment that sold alcohol during prohibition in the 1920s.
The operator of a saloon or bar would charge customers to see an attraction and then serve a “complimentary” alcoholic beverage, thus circumventing the law.
A “Blind Pig” was also sometimes used to describe a police officer who had been bribed to ignore these saloons.the go-to destination for a fun night out.
